The KaMo 49300034 2 Way PM Valve is a replacement proportional quantity valve designed for compatible KaMo Heat Interface Units (HIUs).

The PM valve is a key hydraulic control component within the HIU. When a domestic hot water tap is opened, the valve responds to the change in water pressure and allows primary heating water to flow through the DHW plate heat exchanger. Primary flow is regulated in proportion to the domestic hot water requirement, helping provide efficient instantaneous DHW production.

The valve operates mechanically and does not require an external electrical supply for its basic proportional-control function. WilSon's KaMo documentation also explains that the PM valve provides DHW priority, maximising available heat to the domestic hot water heat exchanger when a tap is opened.
