Hybrid Systems
Hybrid systems integrate an eclectic heater within the HIU, providing a combination of mechanical and electrical on-demand heating. This is ideal for use with heat pumps and solar systems, which typically have a lower primary temperature, making water slower to heat up. The built-in electric heater adds the extra heat to cut out the delay and assure the right temperature all day throughout the building.
